get arty. get messy

Rockhampton's newest attraction has opened it's doors just in time for the Easter school holidays.

Located in the heart of the Rockhampton Riverside Precinct on Darumbal Land, the Rockhampton Museum of Art holds one of the finest collections of modern Australian paintings.

Let the kids creativity run wild with the gallery's 'Delicious Delights' workshop. Taking place on the 5th April, this workshop will see the kids getting messy and creating something special from clay! Items will even be glazed and fired at the conclusion of the workshop.

The Gallery also has a fantastic school holiday program lined up, with Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art presenting APT10 Kids on Tour.  This exciting free hands-on art-making program connects young visitors and their families with ideas and cultures from across Australia, Asia and the Pacific through a diverse range of activities celebrating community, diversity and mindful contemplation.
