The Foodies Guide to Beef Australia

BURGERS, BARS AND BUBBLES

It's only day two of Beef Australia 2021 but we feel like we've already eaten our way through the event, tasting the best beef bites and sweet treats to satisfy all of your taste buds.

Read on for our recommendations on where to grab the best steak, burgers, donuts and everything else in between while you're attending Beef Australia 2021.

BURGER BITES

You don't have to look far to find a food truck serving up a delicious juicy beef burger with a side of perfect cut chips at Beef Australia.

For a traditional beef burger that will leave you drooling for days, head to the guys at the Bass Strait Beef Burger Kitchen. They have perfected the cheeseburger we all know and love so well that you'll be wanting to come back for dinner, and lunch, and dinner again... #noregrets.

You can't attend Beef Australia without trying something a little different so we also recommend trying the 'Brahman Hump Sub' from Brophy's BBQ Rib Shack. Think low and slow beef, on a warm roll topped with true American mustard.. oh god yeah...

FANCY SOME FLARE WITH YOUR BEEF?

If you prefer your beef with a side of flare, you've come to the right place.

The Beef Australia Celebrity Chef Restaurant is an experience not to be missed if you're a beef connoisseur or just looking to treat yourself. You'll indulge in a three course lunch or dinner that pairs some of Australia's best beef producers with chefs from across the country like Dominique Rizzo, Matt Moran and Adrian Richardson. Tickets are available at beefaustralia.com.au.

For a relaxed dining option with a great atmosphere, book a table at The Rocks Yeppoon, Bar and Restaurant pop up restaurant. They have a limited but delicious menu that celebrates some of Australia's best beef producers. Can't decide on what to order? We recommend the House-Cured Beef for entree, followed by the 250g Bavette and of course the Soft Chocolate for dessert.

FOR THE SWEET TOOTH'S

By this stage, your stomach will be telling you that you're full but there's always room for dessert.

Head towards the Town Square precinct near the main entrance and find yourself some delicious donuts from Donut Kitchen or if ice-cream is more your scene head to Mammino Gourmet Ice Cream for gourmet ice cream made right here in Queensland.

If you're just starting off your day, grab dessert for breakfast with a stack of delicious looking waffles from Letz Waffle or Delightful Dutch Pancakes.

BARS AND BUBBLES

There's a number of bars to cosy up into after a big day of eating your way through Beef Australia.

The Bundy Stage and Bar found in Town Square is a great spot to relax in the sun with a cold drink in hand while listening to some great local artists as they take the stage.

The Lawn is home to an impressive two storey Great Northern Brewing Co bar and trailers with ginger beer and frozen cocktails on tap.

Prefer to wrap up the day in style? Look no further than the luxe Champagne Bar near Gate 1.

There's so much more to sink your teeth into at Beef Australia so you'll definitely need more than one day and one night to try it all. For a full list of food and drink options, head to beefaustralia.com.au.
