This December, RADIANCE illuminates the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens for an immersive, Christmas-themed LUNA light journey. An event for the whole family, witness the Botanic Gardens awaken nightly with a spectacular Christmas-themed sound and light experience. This ticketed event uses holograms, lasers, interactive projections, light sculptures, immersive soundscapes and many other sensory devices to excite the senses and create a magical experience for every visitor. Entry times to Radiance are every 15 minutes and you can explore the illuminating wonderland at your own pace once you have entered.

This year's event follows the story of 'Dusty' (the dingo) told via holograms, interactive projections, lasers, sound, LEDs and special effects that will really capture the imagination. The trail begins at the Dingo Playground - you can view a map of the gardens here.

Entry Times

Friday & Saturday nights 6:45pm - Low sensory session
7:00pm - General sessions every 15 minutes until 10:00pm
10:45pm - Botanic Gardens close

Sunday to Thursday nights 6:45pm - Low sensory session
7:00pm - General sessions every 15 minutes until 9:00pm
9:45pm - Botanic Gardens close

Parking Information

General parking: Available along Ann Street in designated car parks (please stay off grass)
Accessible parking: Located on Ann Street (in front of Rockhampton Zoo)
Drop-off zone: 2-minute drop-off available on the corner of Spencer Street and Ann Street (approximately 300m to entry point)

Please note: Due to limited parking and road closures, early arrival is recommended. Carpooling is encouraged where possible.
